A week in Mallorca.

Mallorca gives you more coast and more range. The largest of the Balearics has long cliffs in the north-west, wide bays in the north and calm, clear coves in the south-east. Add Cabrera's national park and nearby Menorca, and one week can hold very different days.

The island suits all kinds of groups. Palma has excellent marinas, fine restaurants and an easy airport. Outside the city, the coast quiets down quickly. You can have lively evenings and calm anchorages in the same week, without long passages.

Mallorca has one of the largest charter fleets in the Mediterranean, which means real choice but also more to check. AUREVE holds no fleet. We only offer yachts we believe in and know to be of good quality. We search the market around Palma, Port Adriano and Alcúdia, shortlist the yachts that fit your route and group, and show you clear terms. Fast and direct.

A sample route. Every week is planned with the captain around weather, berths and what your group wants.

May to October.

The Mallorca charter season runs from May to October. May, June, September and early October are the quieter months. The water is warm enough, the harbours are calmer and prices are often easier. June and September are a strong choice here: warm water, long days and more room in the coves.

Peak season is July and August. Demand is highest then, the best yachts go first and some owners only take full weeks with set changeover days. If you want those weeks, book well ahead. Many of the best yachts are reserved months in advance, so serious plans start early.

Late requests can still work. The market keeps moving, and cancellations and gaps between bookings open up all season. When time is short, we search fast and tell you plainly what is really free.

Fee. APA. VAT.

A week in Mallorca is built from three parts. The first is the weekly charter fee: the yacht, her crew and her insurance. It moves with the season, the size of the yacht and how in demand she is. Low-season and high-season rates can differ a lot for the same yacht.

The second is the Advance Provisioning Allowance, or APA. It is usually 30–35% of the charter fee, paid before you board and held by the captain. It covers fuel, food, drinks, marina fees and other running costs, all at what they actually cost. You get a full account at the end of the week, and any money left over comes back to you.

The third is VAT where it applies. The rate depends on the flag, the route and the country the charter starts in. Spain has its own rules for charters that start in Spanish waters, and they change from time to time. We confirm how it applies to your yacht and your plans before you commit. We never guess.

Many guests also tip the crew at the end of the week. It is a choice, not a charge. What you see from us is a clear starting figure and clear terms. The final total depends on your yacht, your dates and how you like to spend the week.

Mallorca yacht charter FAQ.

Is Mallorca good for a first yacht charter?

Yes. Short passages, excellent marinas and a wide choice of yachts make it an easy place to start. Palma's airport makes arrival simple.

Can we visit Cabrera National Park?

Yes, with the right permits. Mooring in the park is controlled, so planning ahead matters. We can help arrange it once your dates are set.

Can a Mallorca charter include Menorca or Ibiza?

Menorca fits well into a week from the north or east of Mallorca. Ibiza is further away and works better on longer charters or with faster yachts.

Where do Mallorca charters start?

Most start in Palma or Port Adriano. Some yachts are based in Alcúdia or Pollença in the north. The start point is confirmed with each yacht.

How much is APA on a Mallorca charter?

Usually 30–35% of the charter fee. It covers fuel, food, marina fees and other running costs, at cost. You get a full account and any unspent balance back.

How quickly can AUREVE send options?

We start the search as soon as you share your dates, group size and budget. You get a short, checked shortlist, not a long list of everything.
